2022 Expandable Garden Hose 25ft - 3/4" Brass Fittings & Nozzle for Watering Plants

This hose is light weight and easy to use. It doesn't get kinked up like traditional hoses. Sometimes it does knot up a bit, but it's very easy to untangle. It does take a little extra time to get all the water out of the hose, so I usually turn the water off and spray the remaining water out. At this point I'm saying that it's durable. I stored it away for the winter, so I'll have to see if it still works as well next spring.I love using this because it so much easier to pull out and put away. I got the 25 ft. for my front yard. It takes up little space. It fills up with water when you turn it on, and shrinks right down when you turn off the water and use the nozzle to spray out the extra. You can see it shrink right down to less than half the size. Perfect for me because I live in a condo and I can roll is right up around the faucet, and you can barely see it; unlike rubber hoses that take up much room and need a hose holder that takes up space and I didn't want in front of my house. Also, no kinks when you're pulling it. When the package arrived I thought it was something else, it was so lightweight. I bought a 50 ft. rubber hose for my backyard, and it is awful, bulky, folds in half and I have to go an unkink it. When it breaks or cracks I'll get this same brand. Also, there was a coupon when I bought this so it was very inexpensive.This is great for a non-kink hose. With no water pressure the hose is around 8' long but with water filling the hose it grows to 25' (did not measure but looks right). Previously I had a standard hose from Home Depot that was 15' long. The pressure is significantly lower as it looks like the expansion is smaller than what my previous hose was. The HomeDepot hose would always kink! Happy with this new hose but just wish there was a larger size to get more flow. Also like that it shrinks to hide and hang up.I've had like 5 hoses in the last two years and this is my favorite. It holds up well, doesn't take up a ton of room and I love the shut-off valve. Definitely worth the money for me.I just received this today so this is my initial review. I will update it if necessary.My previous hose needed replacing and this was a good price. I have a high quality nozzle already so I will not use the cheap plastic one included with this hose.Pros: The hose itself seems great; very sturdy. The extra O-rings are much appreciated as they are the ONLY means to prevent leaks at either end of the hose.Cons: The hanging bracket was NOT included and the nozzle is cheap.A lot of people complained about the water pressure; when I attached the nozzle that came with it the water pressure was initially horrible. HOWEVER, you must tighten the knob on the back of the nozzle to adjust the water pressure!! (See my photo.) I have a feeling that people were not doing this which is why they had no pressure. As soon as I tightened it the pressure was completely normal.The hose does indeed expands; whether it actually expands to the full 100’ is questionable. Be sure to read the directions. Make certain that you close the lock so that the hose fills; otherwise you barely get a trickle as you’ll get air instead of water.Using a hose real requires care so that you don’t snag the hose…and don’t use the hose while part of it is still on the real. (There’s another user video that illustrates the problem). Also the little locking device is a nice feature; but it does restrict the flow.On balance there’s a trade off…a heavy hose that doesn’t require handling as if it’s fine China or a light weight hose.I bought the hype…I’m not sure how it will stand up.This hose is marvelous. I never knew how much fun it would be to water my plants during this awful long hot summer.Came as advertised. It is new, been used a few times, but extends and then shrinks as you let the water out of the house. Very lightweight. Recommended upon initial use.Update.. I bought the 100 ft hose as well, but it has quickly developed an issue with the clamp fitting at the spray end. I have contacted the vendor and will update to see how they handle it.Last update.. the hose is great and the smaller one we love. However... this hose has sprung a leak from the clamp and even with an inserted card and email address and a chat to the web site, there is been no response from the manufacturer. So it is now a 1 star rating for very poor Customer service.And this is the last update.. I promise... the hose was leaking because the hose part actually screws into the fitting. Eventually it came fully unscrewed which is how I realized it was the screwing that had come lose not the clamp. I did screw it back on and the leak has stopped. It will probably need some kind of lock tight so as not to come unscrewed again. I upped my rating to a 4 as the seller never got back to me but when I requested a replacement, it has been shipped post haste.
