These expanding hoses all seem to have a short life. They are fine while they're intact; lightweight, easy to store, etc., etc. But I'm happy if I get a few months of use before they spring a leak. Even taking good care they still rather quickly give up the ghost. For 20 bucks give or take (50 foot length) I figure it's more or less worth the price. I'd advise purchasers to expect just what is advertised, but not for too long!Cool hose. 2 issues:1) The shutoff valve can't be removed. Thread size on the hose is totally different. This restricts water flow.2) It can't be left in sunlight. Sorry,we get that every day here. We'll see how that works out.Otherwise it is a cool hose. It will roll up on the wall holder. It's fun to watch it undulating as you hand water. My porch cat tries to attack it.Watch out for the rubber/grommets they send, seems to make the attachments leak and not for right. I tried to replace my older/worn out ones and had leakage, put the old ones back in and great. Also, seems to be perfect for handles/squeeze triggers but if you're planning on using a sprinkler, be ready to get wet. With the design, it's awesome to have a ball valve at the end to open/close/regulate water.....but remember this thing shrinks, so when you stretch it out to the maximum length that you want, the water and valve have to be on, otherwise it's shrunk back to normal. Hope that makes sense, but in this Central Texas 2022 drought heat wave, I don't mind a little cooling off. So far so good, we'll see.we bought 4 hoses for the garden and one got a hole in it about one week but the other ones are still in good shape and no holes.Packaging instructions include a list of items, one item is listed as Multi-functional Spray Nozzle as shown in the attached picture, this item is NOT included.Ok. I just bought a new house (new build) and of coarse I need to buy everything. I needed a garden hose but I swear there are so many and I just wanted one to help for now. I read the description looks at some of the reviews and said well the price sounds good to me. I have to say. Light weight, the flow is pretty good for my needs and feels durable. I have had it for several weeks and still no issues. If it by I hope you like.Purchased this to replace a competitor’s product that lasted about three years before it burst. It was exactly the same product description as my prior purchase. Supposed to perform the same, constructed the same, for same uses. Since it seemed to be essentially the same hose as the previous hose and was a few dollars less expensive than that hose, I decided to buy it. This is definitely not as good as the one I purchased three years ago.Main differences/disadvantages:- Definitely is not 50 feet when fully extended.- Much heavier than the competition’s product I purchased three years ago. It seems that this is because the fabric exterior coating seems to soak up a lot of water if it gets wet, rather than repel water like the competition’s hose.- The flow is not as even as the flow from the other product. (When using the hose without an attachment.)I’d return it if I hadn’t already discarded the original packaging. Bad on me, but I thought it was low risk discarding the packaging before I used it for the first time, since per the sales information on Amazon, it was essentially exactly like the competitor’s hose I purchased three years ago. It’s not. Even remotely. Lesson learned. If you like a given product, and you decide to replace it, go with the exact product even if you have to pay a few dollars more than the competition’s same product.Does not work well when used in tandem with another hose. The hose will shrink as the pressure decreases
